Financial Planning - GGI Wealth FORMation ProcessTM

Our wealth planning process is dedicated to helping people define, develop and protect their True Wealth, not just their financial riches. We call this our GGI Wealth FORMation ProcessTM and it reflects our unique belief system about the real meaning of money and true wealth.

How do you define your wealth?

Wealth means much more than having a large financial estate. Wealth is measured by your relationship with family, occupation, recreation, and money. Having a healthy understanding of this can allow for greater fulfillment and happiness in life. We have dedicated ourselves, our occupation, to helping our clients identify, manage, and protect their true wealth.

We believe that the most important work we do is helping our clients get their financial house in order, especially when faced with a major life transition. The most effective way we help you stay disciplined, focused, and on track to meet all of your goals is through our GGI Wealth FORMation ProcessTM. This process is designed to uncover your full range of financial needs, from wealth creation to wealth protection to preparing and preserving your legacy – and connecting those needs with all aspects of your True Wealth.

In order to help you maximize your potential for success in all areas of your True Wealth, we take a disciplined, comprehensive approach. Our planning approach is a three stage process that leads us to your personalized True Wealth Plan.

STAGE I: Macroscopic Planning - Can I?

One of the most important components to any successful advisory relationship is about understanding who you are as a person. With our Macroscopic Planning Stage, we focus on what matters most to you. We explore the major aspects of your financial life, including your specific values and goals, as well as time horizon, income and liquidity needs as well as your ability and willingness to take risk. We explore how your financial objectives fit with the most important aspects of your life. Together, we will create your personal definition of financial success and work with you to translate this into achievable, prioritized goals. As a part of this step, we also make a mutual commitment to working together and putting your plan in place.

You will walk away from Stage I of our process with complete confidence in your ability to reach your goals. You should be able to answer the question, "Can I?"

STAGE II: Forensic Planning - How do I?

In order for us to thoroughly understand what matters most to you, we take a comprehensive inventory of your current financial position, including strengths as well as any gaps or weaknesses. We  also analyze the effectiveness, composition and overall expenses associated with your existing portfolio. We analyze specific items for you to take action on to make sure your finances are properly aligned with all of the most important aspects of your life.

Based on the outcome of our analysis, we develop a True Wealth plan focused on getting you from where you are today to where you want to be in the future. Through this step in the process, we address any items that need clarification and make any alterations based on additional information provided. We believe that an open, honest dialogue about what matters most to you, your financial needs, beliefs, expectations, and concerns is critical to any successful advisory relationship.

You will walk away from Stage II of our process with complete clarity of the steps required to reach your goals. You should be able to answer the question, "How do I?"

STAGE III: GGI Protected Growth Portfolios™ - Is there a better way to manage my assets than buy and hold?

It is our obligation, as Fiduciaries, to invest assets in the best interest of our clients, putting their interests ahead of our own.

After the global financial crisis in 2008, we came away with the belief that our markets had fundamentally changed, and common investment beliefs needed to be challenged. There had to be a better way to manage assets than following the academic theories that support riding the market waves up and down hoping it all works out one day. Our search for a better way lead us to Quantitative Trend Analysis (QTA).
